Over the past 30 years, Zona Franca La Candelaria and the companies operating within it have generated approximately COP 1.5 trillion in investment, equivalent to USD 453 million, and created more than 4,500 direct formal jobs. Through investment, employment, and business growth, ZFLC continues to contribute to Cartagena’s economic development and the competitiveness of Colombia’s Caribbean region.
