Zona Franca La Candelaria is moving forward with an ambitious expansion and modernization plan designed to create new opportunities for industrial, logistics, and foreign trade operations in Cartagena. This plan includes the development of new facilities, the modernization of existing infrastructure, and a 35,000 m² industrial park operating under Colombia’s standard customs regime, complementing the Free Trade Zone with additional capacity for business growth. Backed by an Operator License granted by the Colombian National Government under MINCIT Resolution No. 1311 of 2021, valid through 2053, ZFLC continues to strengthen its role as a strategic platform for long-term investment and competitiveness in the Colombian Caribbean.
