Zona Franca La Candelaria has an ambitious expansion plan for the coming years, including the development of new facilities and the modernization of existing infrastructure to attract a broader range of industries. The project also includes a 35,000 m² industrial park operating under Colombia's standard customs regime, designed to complement the Free Trade Zone by providing additional industrial and logistics capacity. Zona Franca La Candelaria holds an Operator License granted by the Colombian National Government under Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (MINCIT) Resolution No. 1311 of 2021, valid through 2053.
